Val’s Brazilian Grill is a family-owned and operated restaurant that opened its doors in January 2025 in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Born from a deep passion for sharing the rich flavors and traditions of Brazil, Chef Val and the team bring authentic family recipes and time-honored cooking techniques to every plate. Since our launch, we’ve been dedicated to delivering genuine Brazilian hospitality, high-quality ingredients, and unforgettable meals that make every guest feel like part of the family.

Val is a talented and passionate head chef and owner of Val’s Brazilian Grill, a celebrated Brazilian eatery that brings the rich flavors and vibrant culinary traditions of Brazil to the heart of Port St Lucie. Born and raised in Goiânia, Brazil, Val developed a deep love for cooking at a young age, influenced by the bold, diverse flavors of Brazilian cuisine. After honing skills at renowned Brazilian and American restaurants in New York, Val mastered the art of blending classic Brazilian techniques with modern culinary trends.
A standout in the culinary world, Val gained national recognition after competing on Food Network’s Choppedseries, where their creativity and technical expertise impressed both judges and viewers alike. Today, Val continues to share the unique tastes of Brazil with guests while pushing the boundaries of what Brazilian cuisine can be.

Robert Carriera - Grill Master
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Robert Carreira brings over 30 years of experience and passion to the art of churrasco. Having honed his craft in some of the most renowned churrascarias in the world—including Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chão—Robert is a true master of fire and flavor. His dedication to authentic Brazilian barbecue, combined with his expert technique, ensures every cut of meat is grilled to perfection and served with the tradition and warmth of a true master of the Brazilian grill.

Eduardo Carreira – Grill Master
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Eduardo Carreira brings over 30 years of experience in the art of authentic Brazilian churrasco. Throughout his career, he has worked at some of the world’s most prestigious churrascarias, including Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chão, where he refined his skills and deepened his passion for the grill. Known for his expert technique and respect for tradition, Eduardo delivers perfectly grilled cuts with the warmth and spirit of a true gaúcho, offering guests a genuine rodízio experience.
